We love Pumpkins!

Mrs. Rutledge's class carved a pumpkin.  We touched the "pumpkin guts" and seeds.  We voted on what shape we wanted to carve for the eyes, nose, and mouth.  Mrs. Rutledge carved it and we watched.  We talked about the steps to grow a pumpkin.  We also talked about what kind of animal might sleep inside our pumpkin.  We came up with a mouse, rat, ant, kitten, baby bird, and an eyeball.  haha Got to love their creative minds.

Proof that Mrs. Rutledge was the only one to touch the knife.  We also talked about "safety" and how we should never play with sharp objects.
Ewwww, pumpkin guts.

Here's our final product.  Meet our new student, Jack.

ROOOOAR!!!!

We want to thank Steven and Jamie Smith for bring us some pumpkins to paint.  Logan's dad sells pumpkins and mums on Hwy 72....Need some pumpkins?  Go see Logan's dad, Steven.
We had a great time painting them.

Peace, Love, and Pumpkins
