We just finished our 4th week of school.

We are thankful for the LONG weekend.  We were starting to go crazy, just look at our faces!

Also, thank you Miss Katie (Mrs. Adcock's doctor) for reading to us!  We love her visits.  

Experiment

We did our first experiment this week.
We took red, blue, and yellow cool whip and created secondary colors.

Blue + Red = Purple
Red + Yellow = Orange
Blue + Yellow = Green

After we mixed our colors we tasted our experiment.
It was yummy!

The Mars Hill Panther came to visit.  We loved giving him high 5's and hugs.  We cannot wait to cheer on the Panthers this year!

Yellow Day

Yellow day calls for a yellow watermelon.  After playing outside we met under a tree and ate a piece of yellow watermelon.  Some of us came back for seconds!  We want to thank Mrs. Ann Clemmons for giving us the watermelon.  It was delicious!

Watermelon was the perfect treat for a hot afternoon.
